GREEN BIN WASTE on the Isle of Wight.
last updated 24th May 2019

Councils and waste management across the UK do have different recycling methods, so always check with your local GREEN BIN accepted list.

Packaging normally has a mark or label to state if they can or cannot be recycled.

Luckily some items that still state that they can't be recycled (like Pringels tubes), now accually can. Which is due to new achievements in processing.

Here is the current list of items that can be put into your home Green Bin, Paper Bin and Food Caddy.
These items can be sorted and sent away to be recycled by your local council.

Please note that recycled waste that is CONTAIMINATED, quite often CAN NOT be recyclable & should be put in the Standard waste bin.

So wherever possible try to keep it clean.
