Star Trek Axanar
(UPDATE: the Axanar group has halted producton due to copywrite issues with CBS)
Based around Garth of Izar, a character seen in the original 1960's Star Trek episode “Whom Gods Destroy”. Axanar is the story of Garth and his crew during the Four Years War with the Klingon Empire which almost tore the Federation apart.
Written & produced by Alec Peters, the film will include a multitude of pstars from Star Trek and other professional actors.

Axanar (the full length feature film) was to start shooting in March 2014 and be released Winter 2015 (but no filming has happened yet, because of the lawsuit)
Star Trek Continues.
Vic Mignogna and team are aiming to produce the completion of the final two years of the original 5-year mission. The series started in 2013 and the first episode was released in 2014
The show also has guest appearances from the orginal shows.
Star Trek Phase 2 (formerly known as Star Trek: New Voyages)
The series was created by James Cawley in April 2003. The series, released exclusively via the Internet, is designed as a continuation of the original Star Trek, beginning in the fifth and final year of the starship Enterprise's 5 year mission. The first episode of the series was released in January 2004, with new episodes being released at a rate of about one per year, though producers have expressed their desire to accelerate production.
Batman: Dead End
This is a short fan film written and directed by Sandy Collora that premiered July 19, 2003 at the San Diego Comic-Con, and was then released on the internet. The film crosses over the Batman, Alien and Predator franchises
Sandy Collora went onto make a similar Batman/Superman project
basied on World's Finest, with much of the same cast and crew in 2004.
Then in 2010, Collora released his first feature film, Hunter Prey.
Star Wars Revelations
Revelations is a fan film released on April 17, 2005, created by fans of the Star Wars saga. The film takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, and explains why the Jedi Order was extinct in the original trilogy.
For it's time...Compared to the average fan film, Revelations ran at over 47 minutes long, and was more expensive to make, costing between $15,000 and $20,000.
